Joanna Pizoń graduated in Biotechnology at the Agricultural University/University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland in 2008. She completed a Master thesis at University of Ghent, Department of Plant Systems Biology, Belgium as an exchange Erazmus student. She isolated protein complexes functioning in flavonoid biosynthesis by using TAP-technology. In 2009 she jointed BRAVISSIMO at Plant Systems Biology/VIB, Ghent, Belgium to work on the genetic and biochemical characterization of the GSK regulation in Arabidopsis.
